The Kishwaukee women's basketball team put forth a tremendous effort in the first half, but couldn't overcome foul trouble and dropped a 77-55 Region IV game to South Suburban College. The Kougars came out with a purpose and led 16-13 at the end of the first quarter and 34-26 at the end of the first half, but couldn't hold on.
The second half featured 16 Kougar turnovers and just 22% shooting from the floor as Kishwaukee was out-scored 51-21 in the 3rd and 4th quarters.
Shamiah Oliver (Curie High School) led the Kougars in scoring with 16 points, followed by Victoria Baker (Rich Central High School) who finished with a double/double of 13 points and 10 rebounds.
