The Kishwaukee Kougar women's basketball team showed their youth as they let a 29-22 half-time lead slip away in a 63-52 loss at the College of DuPage. The Kougars led by as many as 11 points but struggled mightily from the free-throw line, just managing to hit 7-22. On the flip side, the Chaparrals of DuPage went 32-41 from the charity stripe, accounting for over half of their points.
Ashley Jackson led the Kougars in scoring with 12 points, while Tiara Roberts was the other Kougar in double figure scoring with 10 points. Briana McWaine led the team in rebounding with 7 offensive rebounds and 10 total rebounds.
The Kougars travel to College of Lake County on Saturday, Nov. 21st. Tip-off is at 1:00.
