Shamiah Oliver (Curie HS) and Tiara Roberts (John Marshall HS) led four players in double figures with 15 points apiece as the Kishwaukee College Kougars travelled to Wilbur Wright College and won by a score of 76-60.
The Kougars had a slow start, trailing Wright 15-13 at the end of the first quarter, but bounced back to out-score Wright 25-11 in the second period. The Kougars went into the locker room leading 38-26. The second half mirrored the first as Wright once again won the beginning quarter 16-12 but the Kougars rolled in the final period, winning it 26-18.
Joining Oliver and Roberts in double figures were Ashley Jackson (North Lawndale College Prep) with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and Briona Edwards (Tinley Park HS) followed with 10 points and a team-high 14 rebounds.
The Kougars look to continue their winning ways as the travel to Daley College on Tuesday, Nov. 17th, tip-off is at 5:30.
