The Kishwaukee College women's basketball team needed an extra session, but came out on the winning end, beating Morton College 76-69 in overtime. The game was back and forth with neither team leading by more than 10 points and the lead changing on 5 different occasions, but the Kougars out-scored Morton 10-3 in the extra period to get the win.
Quixmia Washington (Larkin HS) led four Kougars in double figures with 17 points and 4 assists. She was joined in double figure scoring by Hailee Villa (Rockford East HS), Ashley Jackson (North Lawndale Prep HS), and Victoria Baker (Tinley Park HS), all with 12 points. Baker posted a double/double by collecting 17 rebounds.
