Chavez Commits to Judson University

Jake Chavez, IF, Mokena, IL, has decided to continue his collegiate career at Judson University in Elgin, Illinois. Chavez batted .286 and slugged .357, while driving in nine runs in 18 games as a sophomore.  In a double-header versus Olive Harvey College, Chavez went a combined 5-7 with 2 doubles, 3 runs scored and 8 RBI.

Judson University is an NAIA school that competes in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. This past season, Judson went 40-20 and qualified for the NAIA National Baseball Tournament.
