Thirteen Hits Propel Kishwaukee Baseball to Victory
Hot bats continued to pay diviends for the Kishwaukee College baseball team as they used thirteen hits to score five runs in a 5-1 vicotry over Waubonsee Community College.
David Salguiero and Cooper Vinz each had three hits for the Kougars, while Brett Dowling, Jared Johnson, and Jermar Walton all collected two.
Corey Nelson went seven innings for the victory, surrendering just one earned run. Austin Broyles and Devon Branch each pitched scoreless inning to finish the game.
With the victory, Kishwaukee moves to 30-18 with a seven game winning streak.
