Steller pitching was the theme for the day, as two Kougar pitchers combined to give up one earned run in a 3-2 and a 10-1 series sweep over Illinois Valley College
In the first game, Jasmine Kerley pitched seven innings, giving up one earned run on six hits, to garner her twelfth victory of the season. At the plate, Peyton Marten, Sabrina Killeen and Bailey Johnson all had two hits, with Johnson driving in two runs.
In the second game, McKenna Marcinkowski pitched seven innings, while surrendering seven hits and just one unearned run, while striking out four batters. Providing offense for the Kougars were Kelsie Thurman who went 3-3 with two runs scored, while Peyton Marten went 3-4 and drove in two runs.
With the sweep, Kishwaukee College moves to 20-15 on the season.
