Kishwuakee Softball Wins a Pair
The Kishwaukee Kougars softball team won their 7th and 8th straight games, with 11-3 and 15-7 victories over Black Hawk College. In the twin bill, Christina Williams was a perfect 6-6 at the plate with 2 RBI and 2 stolen bases. Bailey Johnson was a combined 3-7 with a home run and 3 RBI and Peyton Marten had a monster day at the plate, going 5-7 with a home run, while driving in 10 runs.
Jasmine Kerley got both victories for the Kougars, going 6 2/3 innings and giving up 3 earned runs, improving her record to 10-6 on the season. With the victories, Kishwaukee moves to 17-12.
