Congratulations to 6' 7" sophomore forward, Andre Harris from (Dekalb HS) who has signed to play for Metro State University in Denver, CO. next season. Metro State University is an NCAA Division II school that competes in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and is a perennial NCAA National Tournament team. Andre started all 36 games this past season while playing in 52 total games in his Kishwaukee career. Andre averaged 14ppg, 10.8rpg, and 3.6bpg on his way to being awarded 1st Team All-Arrowhead Conference, Arrowhead Conference MVP, 1st Team All-Region IV, Region IV All-Tournament Team, and 1st Team NJCAA All-American. Andre helped Kishwaukee wins its first Arrowhead Conference Championship since 1997 and Kishwaukee's third Region IV Championship in school history while guiding the Kougar's to an "Elite-Eight" appearance at the NJCAA National Tournament. Andre completes his career with totals of 750 points, 428 rebounds, and 148 blocked shots in his two seasons for the Kougars. Andre ranks 5th all-time in single season rebounds with (387) rebounds during the 2014-15 season.
