The Kishwaukee College men's basketball team lost a closely contested contest on the road, to Prairie State College, 63-60. The Kougars led 26-25 after the first half of play, but were out-scored 38-34 in the second half, providing for the final margin.
The Kougars struggled from the 3-pt line, shooting just 3-14 and only attempted 10 free throws in the game. Kishwakee was led in scoring by Armon Williams (Oak Forrest HS) and Austin Patterson (Morris HS) with 12 points each, followed by Danielle McFadden (Elgin Larkin HS) and Bryson Butler (Lincoln Park HS) with 11. Patterson, McFadden and Malcolm Reed (Marquette Catholic HS) each had 9 rebounds to lead the team.
The Kougars are back in action on Tuesday, Dec. 1st, as they travel to Elgin Community College, for a 7:00 pm tip-off.
