Former Kishwaukee Kougar Raheem Lemons (2011-2013) has signed a professional contract to play basketball for the Belfast Tropics in Ireland.
The Belfast Tropics compete as a member of Basketball Northern Ireland. Basketball Northern Ireland (BNI) is an area board of Basketball Ireland (BI).
Lemons accumulated 1,443 points and 1,087 rebounds over his collegiate career. He ranks 18th in single season rebounding at Kishwaukee with 309 rebounds during his freshman season as well as ranking 7th in career rebounding with 584. Lemons also scored 717 points during his two seasons at Kishwaukee.
Following his collegiate career, Lemons spent the summer playing in Florida's American Basketball League and led the Orlando Lightning to the league title. During the title run, Lemons recorded numerous double/doubles to gain attention of the Irish team.
