February 12, 2026 - The Kish Women's Basketball team hosted Highland CC Thursday night in an Arrowhead Conference game.  It was also Sophomore Night for Kishwaukee as Kishwaukee Athletics celebrated the contributions of our sophomores on the court and in the classroom: Macey Stoddard, Precious French, Kara Martinez and Derrionna Hogg.  After starting out strong with a 15-7 first quarter lead the Kougars were outscored in the second and third quarters by HCC which they couldnt overcome by the final horn and a 65-54 loss.  Cayla Evans had 20 points for the Kougs while teammate Precious French added 15 points. Kezaria Mitchell and Kara Martinez put in 8 and 6 points respectively as Evans grabbed 13 rebounds and Derrionna Hogg 7 rebounds. Ella Medina and Natalie Hall had two steals each.

Kishwaukee (8-19 overall, 2-7 Arrowhead Conference) will travel to South Suburban College Saturday before wrapping up the regular season at Sauk Valley next Tuesday.
