January 10, 2023 - The Kishwaukee College Women's basketball team dropped their contest against Illinois Valley CC Tuesday night in Malta. The Kougars led as much as 22 points with about 9 minutes left in the fourth quarter. However, foul trouble and limited players to be available to play due to injury caused the team to play with 4 down the stretch. It was a valiant effort by Kish but they would lose 85-79. Kira Klapprodt almost had a triple double with 32 points, 12 rebounds and 8 steals for the Kougars. Teammates Kayla Boyd added 22 points, 8 rebounds, 4 blocks and 5 assists and Samantha Koper 13 points 8 rebounds and 7 steals. Heaven Johnson (5 points) and Cashay Stevenson (7 points) both chipped in with 9 rebounds a piece. Kishwaukee (7-7 overall and 0-1 in Arrowhead Conference) will travel to play Sauk Valley CC on Thursday then return home to host Olive Harvey College on Saturday at 1:00 pm
