Mens Golf Spring Season Preview

April 11, 2025 - The Kishwaukee College men's golf team is set to begin its Spring 2025 season with renewed energy and leadership under new head coach John Karpowicz. Karpowicz takes the helm aiming to build upon the program's tradition of excellence in the NJCAA Region 4 and Arrowhead Athletic Conference.

The Kougars' spring schedule features several competitive tournaments that will test and showcase the team's skills:

April 7: NJCAA Region IV Preview at PrairieView Golf Course in Byron, IL. which was postponed due to weather

April 22: Melee at the Creek in Morris, IL.

April 24-25: Bryant and Stratton Legends Classic, Suakville, WI  (Bull and the Bear courses)

April 27–29: Region 4 Tournament at PrairieView Golf Course in Byron, IL. 

These tournaments provide the Kougars with opportunities to compete against strong regional opponents and aim for qualification to the national championship.

The team's roster for the 2025 Spring has not yet ben finalized, but includes Sophomore Owen Haas (Rochelle Township), Sophomore Griffin Ohlinger (Rochelle Township), and Freshman Bryce Olson (DeKalb).

With a schedule filled with challenging tournaments, the Kougars' are poised for a competitive Spring 2025 season
