February 7, 2026 - The Kishwaukee Kougars Men's Basketball team hosted the College of DuPage (14-11) Saturday afternoon in a key NJCAA Region 4 game. Kish striggled early and most of the first half trailing by double digits thoughout. A haltime reset with additional defensive focus and offensive team play paid off in the second half as the Kougars drew close with five minutes to go and then won a thriller 55-54 on a last second buzzer beater by sophomore Zaheem Jackson with a floater inside the paint. Jackson paced Kish with 18 points followed by Ben Larry with 13 points and "AJ" Antoine Burns chipping in 8 points with two key threes down the stretch.
Kishwaukee (11-13 overall and 4-1 in Arrowhead Conference play) will travel to play their final conference game versus Black Hawk College Tuesday with a start slated for approximately 7:00 pm.
