January 8, 2026 - The Kishwaukee College Men's Basketball team hosted Sandburg College Thursday night in the 2025-2026 Arrowhead Conference opener. After trailing 30-28 at the half, the Kougars would battle through a back and forth game to eventually pull away in the final minutes for a 65-60 win. Ramsey Bethel followed up his 28 point performance from Tuesday night's loss to #11 Madison, with a triple-double of 27 points, 18 rebounds and 10 steals for the Kougs Thursday. Cam Davitz contrubuted 13 points and teammate Arquis Yancey added 11 points. Zaheem Jackson had 7 assists and 4 rebounds.
Kishwaukee (5-10 overall, 1-0 Arrowhead Conference) will travel for their next game on Tuesday, January 12 to Illinois Valley CC in another Arrowhead Conference match-up.
