January 6, 2026 - The Kishwaukee College Men's Basketball team opened up the 2026 calendar of games hosting NJCAA #11 ranked Madison (WI) College Tuesday night. After leading the Wolves 41-32 at the half, and being up as much as double digits early in the second half, the Kougars were unable to keep Madison College at bay in the final minute of play as both teams were tied 83-83 with 51 seconds left. A pair of key Kishwaukee turnovers in that last minute gave Madison the margin of victory 87-83. Ramsey Bethel led the scoring for Kish with 28 points followed by Arquis Yancey with 19 points and Ben Larry with 11 points. Teammates Zaheem Jackson (8 points, 5 assists), Antoine Burns (5 points, 3 blocks, 2 assists), Carson Bahrey (5 points, block) and Aris Bush (4 points, 3 rebounds) provided additonal energy throughout the contest. Le'Khai Davis, Carron Gibson and Cam Davitz added big rebounds in key moments down the stretch as well.
Kishwaukee (4-10 overall, 0-0 Arrowhead Conference) will open up Arrowhead Conference Thursday night at 7:30 pm against Sandburg College.
