September 2, 2025 — The Kishwaukee College Esports program is off to a flying start as its Fortnite duo, Caden Adams and Nathan Knight, secured their first victory of the year against Heartland College. The win marks a strong beginning to the competitive season for the Kougars' esports athletes.

Adams and Knight demonstrated exceptional teamwork and strategy, outmaneuvering their opponents from Heartland College in a thrilling match. The victory highlights the growing strength and talent of Kishwaukee College's esports program, which continues to make its mark in collegiate gaming. The Kougars will look to build on this momentum in their upcoming matches as they compete in the National Junior College Athletic Association Esports (NJCAAE).

Super Smash Bros -  Bernardo Munoz faced a tough loss in their first Super Smash Bros. Ultimate match of the year, falling to Guilford Tech Community College, 3-0. Munoz fought valiantly, but the superior experience and skill of the Guilford Tech team proved to be too much to overcome.
