September 30, 2024 - The Kishwaukee Kougars Esports team swept the competition in Fortnite Monday evening, winning both competitions 2-0 in a best of three series.  Austin Salter and Nathan Merryman downed Barton Commmnity College, and Halle Kerley and Dakota Allen bested State Fair College.  Hot drops and bountiful loot gave the Kougars clear paths to victory. Dakota and Halle opened their collegiate careers with solid performances, while both Nathan and Austin used their veteran intelligence to bring home the win.  Coach McMahan stated, "I couldn't be prouder of these student-athletes! First games of the season are always intimidating, but they kept their composure, and I was the one pacing back and forth between the PCs." 

The Kougars have work to do still this week playing SSBU, OW2, and R6, and look to bring home multiple wins this week.
