April 3, 2022 - The Kishwaukee College Baseball team found a way to get a nine inning game Sunday, amidst the past week's horrible weather, against home Oakton CC but at Trition College's turf field.  After not having played in 12 days, Kish stayed in a tight game throughout.  The Kougars took the lead in the top half of the seventh plating  two runs to take a 5-4 lead.  Unfortunately, the Owls got two of their own with 2 outs in their last at bat of the ninth to win 6-5.

Jimmy Kalyviaris (Elk Grove HS) went 3-5 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored to lead Kish offensively while teammates Tyler Jacobsen (Jacobs HS), Ryan Nelson (Bartlett HS) and Blake Novinsky (Sycamore HS) each added a pair of hits. Jaden Jones (Jones Prep HS) went 4 innings striking out 4 while Gavin Gallagher (Hobart-IN HS) went the final frames striking out 6.  Will Wojtasiak (Hoffman Estates HS) and Darnell Coleman (St Laurence HS) each scored a run for Kish.

Kishwaukee (0-6 overall) will travel to Carl Sandburg College Monday and to Milwaukee Area Tech on either Wednesday or Thursday this week.
