September 26, 2019 - Kishwaukee Womens Volleyball took care of business Thursday in South Holland as they defeated South Suburban College in three straight sets 25-16, 25-19 and 25-20. Jeanette Brann led the way for the Kougars with 15 points. Alex Barrera had 9 points, 8 kills and 5 digs, Abigail Ingraham also tallied 8 digs while Lauren Kunke added 22 digs on the night. Emily Eder put up 28 assists to go along with 5 digs herself as Sabrina Groce (10 digs) and Alexis Orkfritz (7 digs) handled the Bulldogs kill attempts. Kaylee Shetler (10 points) put down 8 kills herself.
Kishwaukee is now 12-11 overall and 1-3 in the Arrowhead Conference. The Lady Kougars will have an important match-up this Tuesday, October 1 against conference foe Highland Community College at home starting at 6:00 pm as the season turns another page on the calendar and regional tournament time approaches.
